The audience development department accompanies spectators in their experience of the various shows in the season. This includes encounters with the artistic teams, season presentations, and visits to the theatre. These events enable you to prepare for your group’s outing to the theatre and to encourage them to reflect upon the show long after it has finished.
Encounters with the artistic teams :
Whether it be a group, CE, or association, these encounters provide an opportunity to discuss our impressions to the show in a convivial manner.
Season presentations :
The audience development department offers a specific presentation of the season’s shows to CE work committees or groups looking for advice in their choice of subscription or show.
Theatre visits :
Guided visits lasting around one and half hours (for 10 to 35 people), provide a general overview of the theatre (including a presentation of the history and architecture of the buildings, artistic activities and technical aspects) :
- Théâtre de l'Odéon: discover Paris’s first "théâtre-monument" (1782)
- Ateliers Berthier: discover a set storage warehouse built in 1895 by Charles Garnier (including its modular space, and set construction workshops in this fast-evolving neighbourhood).
These visits constitute a special occasion for groups wanting to get the most out of their visit to the Odéon-Théâtre de l’Europe.
