Between 1989 and 1995 six idols of the young Christophe Honoré - Demy, Koltès, Guibert, Collard, Daney, Lagarce – are all dead of Aids. Honoré will have never met them. Since then, he has become a writer, a filmmaker and a playwright. In order to embody his models, he made use of the stage. The result is humorous and poignant, filled with intelligence and joie de vivre. Through six peculiar ways to face desire and death, Honoré wanted to create “ a play to answer the question: How does one dance afterwards?”. He has found his answer - and the audience’s, enthusiastic, compelled resumption.
