La Double Inconstance

Arlequin and Sylvia love each other stubbornly. This poses the Prince, who is smitten with Sylvia, a seemingly unsolvable problem, as in order to separate them, any use of force is forbidden to him. Yet violence can appear smoother and more insidious than most. The initial love for subjects is “similar” says Galin Stoev “to a white mouse”.
