Counterpoints seminar on L’Esthétique de la résistance

As a counterpoint to the show conceived and directed by Sylvain Creuzevault, L'Esthétique de la résistance (The Aesthetics of Resistance), based on the novel by Peter Weiss, a round-table discussion will bring together three guests whose points of view will be crossed in “counterpoint” to the show to approach Resistance from a gender perspective. The discussion will be moderated by Frédéric Regard and Anne Tomiche.

·         Claire Andrieu, historian, Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, specialist in the Second World War and the Resistance 

·         Arthur Igual, performer of the show L'Esthétique de la résistance

·         Catherine Lacour-Astol, historian, Académie de Lille, specialist in women's resistance movements

·         Guillaume Reussner, Germanist, Sorbonne University, specialist in the work of Peter Weiss

Counterpoints seminar:

L'Odéon and Sorbonne Université are teaming up for a seminar directed by Anne Tomiche and Frédéric Regard.

Over the course of three meetings, they will welcome speakers from diverse and complementary backgrounds to discuss gender issues in relation to the shows presented.
