The exhibition will look back at the premiere of Les Paravents in 1966 at the Odéon, then the Théâtre de France, under the direction of Jean-Louis Barrault, and will feature costume and set designs by set designer André Acquart, letters sent by Jean Genet to director Roger Blin during the production of the show, as well as photos and press articles published about the show and the scandal it caused at the time.
The exhibition will also feature some of Jean Genet's letters and comments to Patrice Chéreau during his production of Les Paravents at Les Amandiers in 1983.
